With a vast amount of preparation already done and lots more still to do we can announce what the pre-season schedule for the Swansea Titans will look like. One point to add here is that this list does not include the majority of training sessions or any classroom sessions, just the key events and dates.

There are some notable changes and additions to the schedule from previous years. The first half of the schedule is somewhat ‘as standard’ as the vets train prior to the fresher’s arrival, which is proceeded by the Fayre, Combine and subsequent training sessions.

Two additions stand out; the first is the Training Camp in the second week of October, which will cover fundamentals, techniques, scheme, classroom sessions and S&C. The second is the ‘friendly’ against west Wales rivals Aberystwyth Tarannau. This game comes at the expense of UWE scrimmage day, which has been scratched from the schedule as the Titans face UWE in the regular season on the 8th of February 2015.

We would be remiss not to mention the Old Boys fixture, a game that means a great deal on many levels. First and foremost it is the first competitive action for many rookies as they kit up against the ‘TOADS’. This game signifies the end of one year and the beginning of another for the team. However, it also provides a chance for Hall of Famers and Titan graduates to don the Swansea green and white one more time.
